Apple has announced a new Mac mini Service Program for users experiencing a No Power Issue.
Apple has determined that a very small percentage of Mac mini (2023) devices with the M2 chip may no longer power on. Affected devices were manufactured between June 16, 2024 to November 23, 2024.
If your Mac mini has exhibited this issue, you can use the Serial Number checker at the link below to see if your device is eligible for this program. If so, Apple or an Apple Authorized Service Provider will provide service, free of charge.
Service Process
Choose one of the options below to have your Mac mini serviced. Your Mac mini will be examined prior to any service to verify that it is eligible for this program.
Note: If your Mac mini has any damage which impairs the ability to complete the repair, that issue will need to be resolved first. In some cases, there may be a cost associated with the additional repair.
Additional Information
● Apple may restrict or limit repair to the original country or region of purchase. ● This worldwide Apple program does not extend the standard warranty coverage of your Mac mini. ● The program covers eligible Mac mini for three years after the first retail sale of the unit.
