Unofficial PwnageTool Bundle to Jailbreak iOS 4.0

An unofficial PwnageTool bundle which allows you to upgrade to the pre-release of iOS 4.0 GM while keeping your jailbreak and old baseband has been posted by msftguy.

We strongly recommend not attempting this until the final version of iOS 4.0 is released and the iPhone Dev-Team posts the official update to PwnageTool.

For the advanced users who want to check the bundle out you can find it here.

You can see a demo video below...

It doesn't change the baseband you already have. So if it's unlocked it will remain unlocked. Unless you know exactly what you're doing, would advise waiting for the official iOS 4 from Apple (GM will be updated) and Jailbreak from the DevTeam. It wont take long.

You have to be the most stupid person on earth to release a jailbreak for OS4.0 before the release of the Iphone 4G.

I don't know, I think your post probably tops that making you the stupidest person in the world. They've release an iOS 4 Jailbreak after the developer release of the Gold Master of iOS 4. Sounds pretty logical to me, but your the stupidest person in the world so wouldn't expect you to understand. (This is mostly tongue in cheek but also a little bit serious)

This only applies to already-jailbroken devices, no new exploits are being revealed in this jailbreak.
