Apple TV has set the premiere date for "Margo's Got Money Troubles," a new drama series from David E. Kelley starring Elle Fanning, Michelle Pfeiffer, and Nicole Kidman. The eight-episode season will debut globally on Wednesday, April 15, 2026, with the first three episodes, followed by one new episode every Wednesday through May 20.
Based on Rufi Thorpe's bestselling novel, the series follows Margo, played by Fanning, a recent college dropout and aspiring writer trying to stay afloat while raising a new baby and facing mounting bills. Pfeiffer co-stars as her mother, a former Hooters waitress, and Nick Offerman appears as her ex-pro wrestler father. The cast also includes Thaddea Graham, Marcia Gay Harden, Greg Kinnear, Michael Angarano, Rico Nasty, and Lindsey Normington.
The show is produced by A24, with Kelley serving as showrunner and writer. It marks the latest collaboration between Kelley and the platform following the drama "Presumed Innocent." Executive producers include Fanning, Dakota Fanning, Brittany Kahan Ward, Kidman, Per Saari, Matthew Tinker, and others. BAFTA and Emmy winner Dearbhla Walsh directs the pilot and is joined by directors Kate Herron and Alice Seabright on later episodes.
