Apple TV has shared a first look at "Imperfect Women," an upcoming psychological thriller starring and executive produced by Emmy Award winners Elisabeth Moss and Kerry Washington. The eight-episode limited series is scheduled to make its global debut on Wednesday, March 18, with the first two installments.
The project is an adaptation of Araminta Hall's novel of the same name and is led by showrunner Annie Weisman. This production marks the latest collaboration between Weisman and the streaming service following her work on the dramedy "Physical." The story examines a crime that upends the lives of three women who have been friends for decades, exploring themes of guilt, retribution, and the secret compromises that alter relationships.
The high-profile ensemble joining Moss and Washington includes Kate Mara, Joel Kinnaman, Corey Stoll, Sheryl Lee Ralph, and Leslie Odom Jr. The series is a co-production between 20th Television and Apple Studios, with Moss and Washington executive producing through their respective banners, Love & Squalor Pictures and Simpson Street.
This release fits into a busy spring window for the service, which was recently rebranded to simply Apple TV. It reflects the company's stated strategy for 2026 to deliver new original content on a nearly weekly basis. Following the initial two-episode launch, new chapters of the thriller will be released every Wednesday through April 29.
