Nomad has released a limited edition version of its Stratos Band, introducing a unique 'Icy Blue Glow' finish that adds a phosphorescent touch to the rugged titanium design. The accessory combines high-end metalwork with a durable rubber interior, bridging the gap between a formal link bracelet and a sport band.
The band uses a Grade 4 titanium frame with a Diamond-Like Carbon (DLC) coating to resist scratches, giving it the appearance of a traditional link bracelet. Instead of solid metal links, each segment is made from compression-molded FKM rubber secured by titanium hardware. Nomad infused the rubber interior with photoluminescent material, allowing the band to absorb light during the day and emit a bright blue glow in dark environments.
While the rugged aesthetic is clearly aimed at the Apple Watch Ultra 3, the strap fits a wide variety of case sizes. It is compatible with 49mm, 46mm, 45mm, 44mm, and 42mm models, meaning it works just as well with the new Apple Watch Series 11 or older generations.
The Stratos Band features a custom magnetic clasp and includes a tool for adjusting the length to fit wrists ranging from 130mm to 200mm. It is fully water-resistant, though Nomad recommends letting the band dry out after swimming. This launch follows the company's recent release of the Tracking Card Pro, a rechargeable wallet tracker integrated with the Find My network.
Nomad notes that this is a limited production run. The band is priced at $189 with free shipping and a limit of two per order. You can purchase the new band at the link below.
