Apple has officially released its new Apple Creator Studio subscription service, making the all-in-one creative bundle available to users starting today. The service combines the company's professional software lineup, including Final Cut Pro and Logic Pro, into a single monthly plan and brings Pixelmator Pro to the iPad for the first time.
First announced earlier this month, the subscription is priced at $12.99 per month or $129 per year and includes a one-month free trial for new subscribers. Apple is also offering a discounted rate for college students and educators at $2.99 per month. The company confirmed that standalone one-time purchases for Mac versions of the apps remain available on the App Store for users who prefer not to subscribe.
The bundle is headlined by the debut of Pixelmator Pro for iPad. The image editor has been rebuilt specifically for iPad with a touch-optimized interface and full support for the Apple Pencil Pro, including features such as hover and squeeze. It joins updated versions of Final Cut Pro and Logic Pro, both of which receive new AI-powered features today. Final Cut Pro gains Transcript Search and a new Montage Maker on iPad for faster edits. It also adds Visual Search for finding specific objects or actions in footage, along with Beat Detection to help creators sync edits precisely to music. Logic Pro introduces Synth Player and Chord ID to assist with music creation.
Beyond the core creative apps, the subscription includes access to Motion, Compressor, and MainStage on the Mac. It also unlocks premium content and new intelligent features across Apple's productivity apps, including access to Apple's new Content Hub. Keynote, Pages, and Numbers now support generative models for creating or transforming images from text descriptions, along with workflow enhancements such as Magic Fill in Numbers.
The service supports Family Sharing, allowing up to six family members to access the suite. Customers who purchase a new Mac or qualifying iPad are also eligible for three months of the service at no cost. The launch marks Apple's first unified subscription for professional video, music, and image creation across Mac and iPad.
