Apple has released iOS 26.6.2 and iPadOS 26.6.2 to the public, fixing an issue that prevented software updates from being downloaded over a cellular connection.
Both updates carry build number 23G90. Apple's release notes state:
This update fixes an issue that prevents downloading a software update over a cellular connection.
The point releases arrive three weeks after iOS 26.6.1 and iPadOS 26.6.1, which delivered security fixes for the iPhone and iPad.
You can install the new software over the air by navigating to Settings > General > Software Update. Direct download links are available on our iPhone Firmware and iPad Firmware pages. You can also use the iClarified IPSW Wizard to find the correct firmware for your device.
