Amazon Launches Five New Blink Cameras With 4K and Long-Range Options
Amazon has expanded its Blink security camera lineup with five new models, adding 4K video, battery-powered spotlights, and longer-range connections for large properties. The cameras are available to pre-order on Amazon in the U.S.

The $79.99 Blink Mini 4K+ is the brand's first 4K security camera. Designed for indoor and outdoor use, the wired model has a 115-degree horizontal field of view, dual-band Wi-Fi 6, two-way audio, and an IP65 rating for dust and water resistance.
It also supports the AI-generated Video Descriptions introduced with Blink's 2K doorbells, which summarize recorded activity in text. That feature requires an eligible AI subscription in the U.S., Canada, or UK, is limited to supported mobile-device languages, and is unavailable in Illinois.

For a wider view without installing several fixed cameras, the $49.99 Blink Mini Pan-Tilt 2K+ can pan 350 degrees and tilt 115 degrees. It includes night vision and two-way audio, but outdoor installation requires a separately sold Blink Camera Outdoor Adapter. Both this model and the Mini 4K+ offer person and vehicle detection with a compatible Blink subscription.
The $109.99 Spotlight Cam 2K+ takes a different approach to outdoor coverage, pairing a battery-powered 2K camera with motion-activated lighting. It is Blink's first battery-powered spotlight camera and does not need a wired power connection.

Two other models focus on reaching parts of a property beyond normal Wi-Fi coverage. The Frontier XR+ is a trail camera aimed at locations such as distant gates, pastures, and outbuildings. A one-camera system costs $199.99 and includes the required Sync Module XR+ hub. Amazon claims a connection range of up to 7,000 feet when the hub is mounted outdoors with an unobstructed line of sight to the camera.

The Outdoor 2K XR+ system costs $149.99 with one camera and the same hub. Its range is up to 800 feet with some trees or structures in the way, or up to 2,700 feet with a clear line of sight. There is a resolution trade-off: video drops to a maximum of 1080p at the longest-range settings, rather than 2K. Actual range depends on obstructions and interference.
Outside the U.S., the Mini 4K+ and Mini Pan-Tilt 2K+ are also up for pre-order in Canada, the UK, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, the Netherlands, Belgium, Australia, and New Zealand. Canadian customers can register for availability notifications for the Frontier XR+, Outdoor 2K XR+, and Spotlight Cam 2K+.
