Apple Releases iOS 26.6.1 and iPadOS 26.6.1 With Security Fixes [Download]

Apple has officially released iOS 26.6.1 and iPadOS 26.6.1 to the public, delivering important security fixes to the iPhone and iPad.



The new software carries build number 23G83. Apple's official release notes are brief, stating simply that the firmware provides security fixes for the device. Alongside the primary updates, the company also rolled out iOS 18.7.10 and iPadOS 18.7.10 (build 22H374) to ensure older hardware that does not support the current operating system remains protected against recently discovered vulnerabilities.


These patches arrive just weeks after the broader rollout of iOS 26.6, which focused heavily on optimizing the system index ahead of the major software transition this fall.
