AppAdvice has posted some closeup photos of the new Bumper case for the iPhone 4.

Dress up your iPhone 4 with a Bumper. Choose one of six colors — white, black, blue, green, orange, or pink — and slip it around the edge of your iPhone 4. Nothing is uglier than a "beautiful device" that doesn't have a nice case and has been beaten up. My kid has a 3Gs and doesn't use a case and is scratched all over. I prefer a nice case and the great functionality of the DEVICE. Not too sure about the bumper though.

Why have a device as gorgeous as the iPhone 4 and cover it with a tatty piece of plastic?

Its not that bad. Im sure it comes in tons of colors also, white on white would be more appropriate.

i agree,they putting that bumper to protect the screen of the phone, if you'll notice the screen its not the same as the iPhone 3g, the screen is a little bit pop up on the metal, unlike the 3g, the screen is protected by the metal bumper...however the iphone 4 is great!but the casing is poor..
