Upgrade+jailbreak+unlock iPhone 3G? need help quick

There are too many guides on the net and I do not have time to filter through them so I apologize for not researching more before asking.
I have a iPhone 3G, jailbroken with quickpwn, still carrier locked, iOS version 2.2, baseband 02.28.00, firmware 2.2_5g77.
I need to backup it, reinstall it(too slow now), rejailbreak it, UNLOCK it, and configure it for tethering with my windows notebook.
I have 5 hours at most to do this.
Please someone tell me what I have to do.
