I have an iPhone that shows the Connect to iTunes screen after an update. When I try to restore, the device disconnects from iTunes after about a minute. I have tried DFU mode and software tools but nothing seems to work.

If your iPhone is stuck on the Connect to iTunes screen and disconnects during a restore, there are several steps you can take to fix the issue. 1. Try using a different USB cable and a different USB port on your computer, ideally one directly on the motherboard. 2. Try performing the restore on a different computer to rule out driver issues. 3. Manually download the IPSW firmware file for your specific iPhone model. Once downloaded, hold the Shift key on a PC or Option key on a Mac and click the Restore button in iTunes to select the file. 4. Ensure your iTunes or Finder software is updated to the latest version and try putting the device into DFU mode before starting the restore.

I was able to resolve this by downloading the specific firmware file for my device from this page: www.iclarified.com/750/where-to-download-iphone-firmware-files-from. I then used a different computer to perform the restore process in iTunes, which prevented the disconnection issue.
