its now released but dont get any further than RUNNING. thats on iphone 3g 3.1.2 and also using xp and vista 32 and 64 bit. explain that mr mr mr

It does work, just takes a few minutes, I thought that but I am running 3.1 on my 3GS and its all ok.

get this, iv tried it 59 times to be exact. a few times it says jailbreak finished wait for reboot... BUT... that was AFTER i pulled out the usb in true annoyance. after that, after taking your "it takes a little while" into account, its now been sat at the running stage for 35 mins. now thats more than 30 seconds. im not moaning, just will wait till these bugs are written out. it aint just me google "stuck on running" during jailbreak, theres plenty of examples. this is my 3G 3.1.2 trial before i try hooking up my 3GS on wednesday. it it dont work on my 3g, i aint trying it on my 3gs, not a cat in hells chance

YES IM YELLING GEO YOU FUCKEN CUNT U MADE ME WASTE 3 HOURS TRYING TO GET UR SOFTWARE TO WORK. NOW I FIND OUT THAT IT WILL ONLY WORK ON AN UNLOCKED PHONE THAT PRESENTLY WORKS WITH A CARRIER SORRY I EVEN WASTED MY TIME WAITING FOR UR LAME JAIL BREAK

You are all talking bollox!! My 3GS is out of the box running 3.1 and thanks to GeoHot it is JAILBROKEN working fine, thanks G. All you who posted FAKE etc should be ashamed, why don't you try do make a proggie like G has. Unfortunatley I don't have ther know how to do it, so I rely on others. G keep up the good work man, thanks. A HAPPY USER>

ur jailbrake doesnt seem to work I did all ur instructions and it went into recovery and it says it is runnining but it stays for 30 min in running and does not go any further can you tell me why it wont reboot also i dont see ur picture in there it goes right into running

i didnt see any image on screen either, make it rain, waiting for phone, running, stuck from there on. the bugs will be ironed out, but G hasnt commented as yet on the stuck on running stage though, i keep googling

Neither redsn0w, nor cydia or blackra1n will enable you the use of cracked apps. Because cracked apps are not the goal of the jailbreak.

its fine calling for a quick release, but how many of you lot would be the 1st on here complaining that your iphone is bricked because a few creases need ironing out b4 he releases it. do not forget, its free, so quit moaning and wait!! if i was geohot, id be charging for it, afterall, he does it in his own time, maybe if he charged it would be a total different story! if i was geohot and got the amount of moaning and whinging, i would apply for a job at apple and help lock the iphone down. then there really would be summink to moan about, another week and all will be sorted. dont foget, unlocking your iphone IS LEGAL but the software that unlocks it is not, go figure that 1 out
