Instruções de como fazer o Jailbreak em seu iPod Touch (1G ou 2G) no firmware 3.0 usando RedSn0w para Windows. A versão para Mac desse tutorial se encontra aqui

Passo 1
Crie uma pasta no seu desktop chamada Pwnage

Baixe o RedSn0w aqui e coloque-o na pasta Pwnage. Baixe o firmware 3.0 e coloque-o na mesma pasta

NOTA*: O Firmware 3.0 deve ser baixado da iTunes Store. O iTunes vai salvar os firmwares nas seguintes pastas:
- C:Documents and Settings USER NAME Application DataApple ComputeriTunesiPod Software UpdatesiPod2,1_3.0_7A341_Restore.ipsw
- C:Documents and Settings USER NAME Application DataApple ComputeriTunesiPod Software UpdatesiPod1,1_3.0_7A341_Restore.ipsw

Extraia o arquivo .zip do RedSn0w na pasta Pwnage

Passo 2
Conecte o seu iPod ao computador e inicie o iTunes.

Selecione seu iPod Touch na lista de dispositivos à esquerda. Agora segure Shift e clique em Restarurar.

Navegue até a pasta Pwnage e selecione o arquivo .ipsw. Clique no botão Abrir para continuar.

Passo 3
Quando o iTunes terminar de restaurar seu iPod, execute o redsnw0w.exe da pasta Pwnage

Passo 4
Quando o RedSn0w abrir, clique no botão Browse.

Passo 5
Selecione o .ipsw da pasta Pwnage e clique no botão Open.

Passo 6
Quando o firmware for verificado, clique no botão Next para continuar.

Passo 7
Tenha certeza de que o Cydia está selecionado e cliqeu no botão Next

Passo 8
Plugue o seu iPod ao computador e tenha certeza de que ele está desligado (Power Button por 3 segundos e "Deslize para Desligar") e clique no botão Next

Passo 9
RedSn0w vai te guiar (em inlgês) como entrar no modo DFU.

Segure o botão Home e o botão Power por 10 segundos.

Solte o botão Power e continue segurando o botão Home até o RedSn0w detectar o dispositivo.

Passo 10
Agora seu iPod vai reiniciar.

Passo 11
RedSn0w vai começar a passar o novo Disco RAM.

Passo 12
Quando isso estiver completo, você será avisado que o RedSn0w terminou. Clique no botão Finish.

Quando seu iPod terminar de reiniciar (5 minutos ou mais), ele estará Jailbroke e com o Cydia em sua SpringBoard (Tela inicial).

i think you didnt restore 3.0 on itunes thats why redsnow does not accept your firmware to jailbreak

Can anyone give me a hand? I don't understand why iPod1,1_3.1.3_7E18_Restore.ipsw doesn't get recognized by redsn0w I followed all the instructions and still doesn't work please let me know if anyone else has this problem.

Can I use redsn0w it with 3.1.3? I've already read a previous post with 3.1 problems and it seams that it's not possible. Can anyone be more accurate (like "no, it's not possible" or "Yes, it's possible"... :))) ) Thanks AJ

I tried 3.1 Since it is available, but no luck with redsn0w... iTunes restored properly from iPod1,1_3.1.1_7C145_Restore.ipsw, but then redsn0w says only "unable to recognize specified IPSW"... :( So i go for 3.0 now...

im having a problem with cydia. it will not load anymore. hit the icon and it acts like its gonna load but throws you right back to the spring board. anyone know why? it started doing that after i downloaded an app called "mewseek" so i was thinking can i just "re-jailbreak" with out reloading the 3.0 firmware. just reuse the redsnow program to rewrite the files or am i really gonna mess up the 2g itouch????????

Do NOT buy the firmware! Go here: http://www.felixbruns.de/iPod/firmware/ choose 3.0 version i pod touch firmware.

Thank you for this tutorial, it works, very easy to jailbreak, just follow the steps, and no you dont have to buy the firmware in itunes, i got it from somewhere else and it still worked

Excellent I followed the instruction and it works in 2 to 3 minutes but make sure not to disconnect ur ipod till u see the "slide to unlock" screen. ALso Redsn0w 0.8 has ICY AND CYDIA redsn0w and iClarified rocks. THE best AND MOST simple tutrial for the iPodtouch 2g 3.0 JailBreak

You have to upgrade the firmware to 3.0 first before doing any jailbreak. It works smoothly now.

i've got an ipod 2g with os 3.0 and jailbreaking with redsn0w 0.8 DIDN'T WORK! i used redn0w 0.7.2 instead and it worked perfectly the first time. fyi for any mac users out there!
