Apple's newly announced Mac lineup is now available to pre-order on Amazon. Customers can secure their place in line for the high-end M5 Pro and M5 Max MacBook Pro, the updated M5 MacBook Air, and the highly anticipated entry-level MacBook Neo ahead of the official retail launch on March 11.
The professional tier of notebooks was unveiled earlier this week featuring Apple's new Fusion Architecture. Engineered specifically for demanding AI workloads, the M5 Pro and M5 Max chips combine two dies into a single system on a chip. Alongside up to four times faster AI performance, Apple bumped the base storage on the M5 Pro configurations to 1TB. These machines also gain Thunderbolt 5 connectivity and Wi-Fi 7 support.

The fanless MacBook Air also received a significant internal refresh. Apple updated both the 13-inch and 15-inch models with the M5 processor, which integrates a Neural Accelerator directly into every core. The 256GB storage configuration has been eliminated, making 512GB the new standard across the entire Air lineup. Like the Pro models, the Air now utilizes Apple's custom N1 chip for Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 6 support.

Rounding out the release is the all-new MacBook Neo. Designed to hit a $599 price point, this 13-inch laptop departs from standard M-series silicon and is instead powered by the iPhone-class A18 Pro chip. It features a lightweight aluminum enclosure available in blush, indigo, silver, and a vibrant new citrus finish. With a 16-core Neural Engine and a fanless design, it provides enough power to seamlessly handle everyday productivity tasks and Apple Intelligence features.
