Amazon has dropped the price of Apple's original AirTag 4-pack to $64 today, bringing the cost down to just $16 per tracker. That's a steep discount off the regular $99 retail price.

The markdown arrives just weeks after Apple announced the second-generation AirTag. While the newer model includes an upgraded Ultra Wideband chip for extended range and a louder speaker, the original version remains a highly capable device for tracking keys, luggage, and everyday items. It features the same IP67 water and dust resistance rating as the newer hardware and still supports Precision Finding using the U1 chip on compatible iPhone models.

Like its successor, the first-generation AirTag uses a standard user-replaceable CR2032 battery that lasts over a year. It also supports the Share Item Location feature in iOS, allowing you to securely share the tracker's location with trusted contacts or airline partners to help recover missing bags.

For buyers who want the latest hardware, the AirTag 2 4-pack is available for $99. The updated model extends Precision Finding to the Apple Watch and includes a speaker that is up to 50 percent louder.
