Apple Celebrates 50 Years of 'Thinking Different' With Letter From Tim Cook

Apple has officially announced plans to celebrate its 50th anniversary, marking five decades since the company was founded on April 1, 1976. The milestone will be marked over the coming weeks as Apple and its global community celebrate the company's history.



To kick off the celebration, CEO Tim Cook published an open letter on Apple's website recognizing the people who helped shape the company. Cook, who recently reflected on the milestone during a televised interview, wrote that "thinking different has always been at the heart of Apple."


The announcement highlights Apple's evolution from early products like Apple II and Macintosh to devices such as iPod, iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, Mac, and Apple Vision Pro.
