Apple Shares New Touchscreen MacBook Pro Ad [Video]

Apple has shared a new ad for the MacBook Pro with PROLED XDR Display, showcasing the company's first touchscreen Mac and its thinner, lighter design.

The 58-second spot follows the longer introduction film released earlier today. It pairs close-up shots of the notebook with short feature callouts, highlighting its tandem OLED display, Touch controls, and M5 Pro and M5 Max performance. The soundtrack is "Ruin" by Kaitlyn Aurelia Smith.

Touch lets users scroll, pinch, and rotate content directly onscreen, alongside familiar keyboard and trackpad controls. The PROLED XDR display offers up to 2,000 nits of peak HDR and SDR brightness, with ProMotion refresh rates ranging from 10Hz to 120Hz. Available in 14-inch and 16-inch models, the redesigned notebooks weigh 3 and 4 pounds, respectively, with battery life rated by Apple at up to 24 hours depending on use and configuration.

The new MacBook Pro lineup is available to pre-order now, with U.S. pricing starting at $2,899. Deliveries and in-store availability begin November 6.
