Apple TV has released the first trailer for its upcoming suspense thriller "Unconditional," offering a closer look at the high-stakes drama ahead of its global premiere on Friday, May 8. The series, from Keshet International and co-creators Adam Bizanski and Dana Idisis, centers on a mother drawn into a dangerous web of crime and corruption.
The eight-episode series will debut globally on Apple TV with its first two episodes on launch day, followed by new installments every Friday through June 19. As previously detailed, the story follows Orna, played by Liraz Chamami, and her daughter Gali, played by newcomer Talia Lynne Ronn. What begins as a vacation in Moscow quickly turns into a nightmare when 23-year-old Gali is arrested for drug smuggling. Refusing to accept the charges, Orna launches a dangerous mission to clear her daughter's name.
The ensemble cast also includes French-Israeli singer-songwriter Amir Haddad, along with Yossi Marshek, Evgenia Dodina, and Vladimir Friedman.
"Unconditional" is written by Bizanski and directed by Johnathan Gurfinkel. The series is produced for Keshet 12 by Spiro Films' Eitan Mansuri and Jonathan Doweck, who also serve as executive producers alongside Bizanski, Idisis, and several Keshet Media Group and Keshet International executives. Keshet International handles global distribution.
The thriller joins Apple's growing slate of spring releases, arriving shortly after projects like the dark comedy film Outcome and the psychological limited series Imperfect Women.
