Apple has officially released watchOS 26.5, tvOS 26.5, visionOS 26.5, and HomePod Software 26.5 to the public. The updates arrive alongside the rollout of iOS 26.5 and macOS Tahoe 26.5, bringing a new watch face and various system refinements across the ecosystem.
The watchOS 26.5 update, carrying build number 23T570, introduces the new Pride Luminance watch face. Users can add the dynamic design directly from the Face Gallery to coordinate with the recently announced 2026 Pride Collection Sport Loop. The software also resolves a couple of specific bugs, fixing an issue where the Messages app might default to SMS instead of iMessage on a dual-SIM iPhone, and addressing a problem that caused audio alerts in the Workout app to fail if the paired iPhone was not nearby.
For the living room and spatial computing devices, the updates focus strictly on under-the-hood refinements rather than new user-facing features. Apple's release notes for tvOS 26.5 and HomePod Software 26.5 (build 23L471), as well as visionOS 26.5 (build 23O471), indicate the software provides general performance and stability improvements.
You can install the updates over the air through the Settings app on your devices, with the Apple Watch requiring the companion Watch app on a paired iPhone. For users who need to perform manual installations or restores, direct download links are available on our dedicated firmware pages for Apple TV, visionOS, and HomePod. You can also quickly locate the exact firmware file you need using the iClarified IPSW Wizard.
