A July ChangeWave survey has taken an in-depth look at the reactions and opinions of 213 Apple iPhone 4 owners, according to InvestorPlace.
The survey found that 72% of iPhone 4 owners are very satisfied and 21% are somewhat satisfied with their device. This is actually lower then the iPhone 3GS initial ratings of 82% and 17% satisfaction. Its thought that the lower numbers for the iPhone 4 might be due to the much publicized antennagate controversy.
iPhone 4 owners said Screen Resolution (49%) was their favorite phone feature, followed by the 5 Megapixel Camera with LED Flash (31%) and the Touch Screen Interface (30%).
The most disliked feature of the iPhone 4 was the the Requirement to Use AT&Ts Network(27%) and the Coverage/ Speed/ Quality of AT&Ts 3G Network(24%). Antenna problems also tied AT&T quality issues for the second most disliked feature.
The survey found that since September 2008, Verizons call drop rating has improved slightly while AT&Ts has continued to worsen.
Notably, iPhone 4 owners reported a better dropped call rating (5.2%) than their 3GS counterparts (6.3%).
