Apple Announces 'Special Event' on September 1st

Apple has announced that it will be holding a 'Special Event' on September 1st in San Francisco, according to an invitation received by Engadget.

Apple is rumored to be announcing a new iPod touch with dual cameras, a new Apple TV dubbed the iTV, $.99 TV Show rentals, and an iTunes streaming service.

We'll update you with more information as it becomes available.

there will no iOS 4 for iPad, no iPod Touch 4G only just the new iTV with iOS 3.3 for all you!!

Hopefully they show iOS 4 for iPad. Its time for that. Fall. .. .. iwant it now. but speptember the 1st will be ok too. is it unlikely that iOS 4 for iPad will be part of the event?!

Does the picture really look like there's going to be much of an iPhone/Mac update...really? It's the ipod and possible iTV, get a grip people...

they better release the white iphone 4, otherwise im getting an android phone ..... and i know a lot of ppl that will do the same cause were tired of waiting ......

Go ahead and get a droid... Who picks a phone Based solely on color. U want a iPhone But if u can't get it in white u don't want it.. As if it really makes a difference

Go ahead get a droid then dude, idk bout you i knew i couldnt wait for even the release date of the iphone 4 and i wanted it in white, but ohhhh well... i got it black when i get tired of it ill go on ebay get the white iphone 4 housing and im set..... until then... good luck. just saying iphone is way too good to let it go just cause you want it in white .. smh

I swear if there is no informtion on an updated Macbook air, I'm just going to my Bestbuy and buying the Toshiba R705. I cant hold off any longer. The 13" macbook update was pathetic and im not going to spend that kin ld of money when i know ill get better performance on a thinner and cheaper laptop.

Sure buddy go ahead nd get viruses and all these windows problems ;) good luck. Plus look at the picture its obviously not about Macs at all.. . its more of media related, iTV, iPods, Might sneak the iPad iOS4 update as an anousment ... maybe a surprise goodie... but yeah .. (just saying)
