Sean Kovacs, the develop of GV Mobile, a third party Google Voice application, has learned that his app might once again be welcome in the App Store.
GV Mobile was removed from the App Store over a year ago...
Richard Chipman from Apple just called - he told me they're removing GV Mobile from the App Store due to it duplicating features that the iPhone comes with (Dialer, SMS, etc). He didn't actually specify which features, although I assume the whole app in general. He wouldn't send a confirmation email either - too scared I would post it. :) I'll see what I can do to get it back up there gang...
After Apple published its new guidelines today, Kovacs read through the 100+ rules and found that his application was in compliance. After contacting Apple about it he tweeted the following message.
Good news: I did get confirmation back from Apple that it will most likely get back in once I resubmit.
We'll let you know if it does become available.

I can't wait for this to be available! I'm hoping they allow Voip calling, that would be awesome! I could finally reduce my minutes then!
