I have an iPhone 4 running iOS 4.1 unlocked for tmobile. After I jailbroke with limerain I lost my facetime. I tried facebreak and 3G unrestricter and no luck. FaceTime was working for me when I had iOS 4.0.1 but not anymore. Anyone have any ideas how to fix. This??

Ip 4, out-of-box, 4.0.2 - BB 01.59.00 successfully JB by limera1n, and unlocked by using ultrasn0w. SHSH was saved by using TinyUmbrella Future plan: will wait for PW to be released will use Tinyumbrella to update 4.1 without changing BB will use PW to jailbreak again, then ultrasn0w to unlock. <-- does this look okey ? Yes I am having high battery drain after Jailbreaking iPhone 4, 4.1

My iPhone 4 was 100% when I went to sleep at 11pm when I woke up at 7ammy battery was down to 54%... Before limera1n everything was fine... I have mywi and my3g installed from cydia but I used to have these apps before on 4.0.1 with jailbreakeme and no problems...

I do have a severe battery drainage issue and it is killing me. I dont know what to do. By the way it works normally when the SIM card is not installed. I have an iPhone 4 Jailbreak and Unlocked on 4.1 and preserving Baseband 01.59.00 Any suggestions on how to fix it? Do you know a way of downgrading my iOS to 4.0.2? My phone was working fine before the update to 4.1

Yo Aj, It's simple use jailbreakme.com via your iphone then go to cydia and search for unlock

I have a quick question. I have just bought my iphone 4 from the U.S. and I was just wondering: In order to be able to use it with my icelandic carrier am I required to jailbreak the phone aswell as unlock it with ultrasn0w or is it enough simply to wait for an ultrasn0w unlock for modem firmware 02.10.04 on iOS 4.1 to be able to use it? Also, it seems that this unlock shouldnt take too long to arrive, but am I able to downgrade the modem firmware so that I could use an earlier version of ultrasn0w? Thanks in advance guys.

Ok I just realised that ultrasn0w only works with jailbroken devices, my bad. But the downgrade question still applies. Also, does anyone know when ultrasn0w might do an unlock for 02.10.04?

Hey, i used limera1n to jailbreak my iphone 4 4.1 01.59.00 ... but i can't unlock it with redsn0w it always stucks on step 13 of the instruction .. so where is the problem? can't i unlock this version of my iphone 4?

I've got iPhone 4, 4.1, 01.59.00. What works for me is: 1. limera1n 2. Installing Cydia 3. Applying all changes in Cydia 4. Insalling ultrasno0w 5. Rebooting.

I have an iPhone 3gs on Apple 4.1 and I need to Unlock it..should I Jailbreak it with limera1n so I can save the SHSH, (I have never saved any SHSH) or should I wait for the Pwnage Tool? I don't understand what happens if Apple releases 4.1.1 and I don't have the SHSH saved..please help! thanks!

I just jailbroke my iphone 4 it was fine untill spring board crashed now i cant get out of the safe mode im runnning 4.1 firmware

Did you install any apps or tweaks from Cydia after you JB your iPhone? If you did you might have d-loaded an app or tweak that is not compatible with IOS 4. If you didn't install anything from cydia then try running Linera1n again or restore the iphone and try JB again.

Works perfect, one iP4 4.0.2 old bb and one iP4 4.1 new bb, both jailbroken and unlocked !....Both working fine on Brasil !... ;o) Thanks Geohot for your well done work !...

It works fantastic with 3gs 4.1, but unfortunately should wait for UNLOCK with baseband 5.14.02

Hi guys, how can i preserved all my app and setting on my 4.0.1 iP4 when upgrading to 4.1? do i have to download all my app again?

Iphone 4, updated yesterday to 4.1, then use limera1n to jailbreak was successful, working fine. just a delay connecting to internet today I found that cydia never loads data ( even when yesterday work) I reboot my phone and... zappts!!!, booting loop, its stacked in apple logo I try with no luck iReb ( because it doesn't work on jailbroked devices) I try also irecovery.. no way... keep looping and doing that sound like you replug the usb every 10 seconds ( or less) diskaid works, i have root access to all files and folders, any solution without going to itunes recovery thanks

Sorry but I can not make the 3pm deadline for 3G 4.1 so bear with me and maybe tomorrow it will be released I just faound a serious problem and i may never be able to fix it but guys next time read before u download firmware when it says dont download 4.1 till theres a patch please listen its ur own fault

Hi , Please answer me, by mistake I applied the new Limr1n JB on my iphone 3GS which was on IOS 3.0.2 before upgrading it to 4.1, and now the device is freezed on the apple symbol and is not able to connect to itunes to reset it. Any suggestion? I know it's a silly mistake but it happens :(

i have a 4.1 3gs new bootrom, doesn't work no matter what i tried (eg. open itunes while running.. etc). limera1n logo pops up.. when is done, no limera1n white icon on the springboard.. nothing.. so i dun think is really fix for the 3gs new bootrom yet

The problem I am having is with a recently updated iPhone 3GS / 4.1 / 5.14.02. The phone was brought to me crashed and updated. Limera1n seems to work just fine but when trying to load cydia the status bar stops and i get an error saying source not found. Any ideas? Looks like the new Limera1n update is said to fix 3GS bootrom issue, but it's not wokring for me.

Dude, I'm in the same boat. 3GS new bootrom and I can't JB. Windows 7 64bit/Windows XP (SP3). Iphone 3GS on 4.1 (32Gb) - New Bootrom. Not sure what is different between me and the other who claim that is works for them!

Yep not sure either. I've got the exact same setup you described and limera1n won't install cydia at all. Stops at about 3%. Greenpoison claims to install cydia but after it completes the install cydia is white icon and will not open. AND I can't delete cydia to try again...so I'm kinda stuck. Prob gonna have to fresh it up and reload 4.1. We'll see.

i have to say, i was having the same problem as many no being able to limera1n their devices, one of mine being the ipod touch 3g. looking thru the dev team's blog, i found others with the same problem and a SIMPLE fix that WORKED...add to the instructions, OPEN iTunes before starting the process and leave itunes open while performing the limera1n jailbreak and it worked the first time...voila.

This didn't work with my iPod touch 3g 4.1 MC model...

I used my Dell 700m to jailbreak my 3G[S] with limera1n last night, finally. I really can't say what I did differently. I must have tried almost fifty times with different setups until it just worked with the newer RC1b. Good luck, guys.

So i want to jailbreak and unlock my iphone 3gs that is running 4.1, 05.14.02, and as a bootrom of 359.3.2. I know with limera1n i can now JB, and i know there is no unlock for the 4.1 out yet, but will an unlock be coming out? I just got this iphone a little while ago, so i never updated it, it was sent to me by apple on 4.1, 05.14.02 and on the new bootrom, will downloading this jailbreak, hurt my chances of unlocking in the future when dev team, or someone, releases a 4.1 unlock??

Preserve your baseband using tinyumbrella and you'l be able to unlock in the future. You might be in the same boat as me where the Limera1n JB doesn't work! Good luck though!!! Cheers, Faraday

I'm using 3GS (new bootrom - 359.2) on 4.1 and Limera1n doesn't work. I get into recovery mode and Limera1n says that it worked but I stay in recovery (no green raindrop) and when I force a reboot and get back to springboard no Limera1n icon. p.s. I'm using Windows 7 (64bit) Cheers, Faraday

right click on limera1n and run as administrator and also go to properties and run in windows xp compability mode

and also leave your itunes running while jailbreak

I'm on 4G 4.O.2 unlocked and jailbroken with no problem. Do have the normal MMS issue and the factime. Anybody know a true fix for these? Thank in advance

I jailbroke, all seems ok, however I have lost some apps from the homescreen (incl itunes), I can still find them on a search, any ideas what I need to do to make the apps appear again?

Do a hard restart, and if that doesn't work, just Sync again w. iYunes.

All u do is resatrt your ipod via hold the home + power button turn of and turn back on cydia will appear

Did you enable facetime under phone settings? also if you restored from backup then you deserve issues because restoring from backup usually causes issues.

I had the same problem, and after 20 tries I finally managed to make it work! Boot camp doesn't work FYI and you should also not restore everything (I restored my phone but not the apps as some might have made the process bug).
