Comex has announced that he will update JailbreakMe 3.0 tomorrow to fix the issue with the Camera Connection Kit.

Update tomorrow will fix an issue with installing some packages and the issue with the Camera Connection Kit.

I still don't understand the (apparently very common, but not reproducible by me) issue where Cydia starts to install but disappears.

The update will be available in Cydia if you are already jailbroken.

I was having the same issue of Cydia installation starting then stopping, so I restored my IPAD, then ran the JailbreakMe on it and it worked fine. THANKS

you want to update it so it actually works full stop iphone 3gs 4.3.3 does not work at all

That is a bit harsh. It works fine on most other idevices and there are alternatives for yours. It's attitudes such as yours that will stop people like comex from releasing his exploits.

Eh he even states he has no idea sbout the problem.ehy cydia tries to install then vanish so its fair to say it was not tested properly anyway as you said there is other programs out there that fully work i will be using
