Was This Photo Taken With the iPhone 5?

A photo has surfaced online which may have been taken with the iPhone 5, reports PocketNow.

This (very attractive) photo claims to have been taken by an iPhone 4, but the rest of its EXIF data tells a different story: although the image has been cropped to 2235x2291 (5.12 megapixels), the original picture was a much larger 3264x2448 -- or just shy of eight megapixels. What's more, the lens was recorded as a 4.3mm f/2.4, which is closer to that of a point-and-shoot than the iPhone 4's actual 3.85mm f/2.8. (Remember that the upcoming HTC Runnymede is said to have an aperture of f/2.2.)

PocketNow says it is possible for someone to have modified the EXIF data; however, this photo was supposedly shot by an Apple engineer eating his lunch at work.

Its FAKE i check the meta and it said Iphone 4 If you don't believe me Try This 1-click on the pic 2-then click and hold and drag to desktop 3-then right click on photo and click on get info and read it

Latitude and longitude proves you right. I believe this is taken with an iPhone 5 july 22nd and on 1 Infinite Loop (Apple Inc. HQ).

Lol.... Just remember that the rumour mill will move to the ipad 3 once the iPhone 5 is launched.... In other words, we all gotta get used to this.

Yeah, this site show be renamed, iRumours, since most of it's posts are based on speculation than actual facts!
