GeoHot has posted a blog entry with some assembly code (most likely for the iPhone 3G). He has entitled the entry, "What is it?" and the description reads, "See deeper then the code".
We don't currently know what this code is for; however, everybody hopes it is related to a unlock for the 3G iPhone.
Anyone who is more familiar with assembly code please comment with your opinions.
Geohot was the first to unlock the iPhone, he was the first to unlock OTB 1.1.2 and now he WILL be the first to unlock the 3G.
He's the only one who can unlock it. Sure there's zibri and iPhone Dev Team, but none of them two will ever unlock the 3G. I don't hate them two.
Geohot you are the best and only iPhone hacker. Get rid of these stupid unlocking sites, they're giving a bad name to my country, England. Annoying law saying that "Phone must be able to be unlocked by the user if wished" :-(
chessin, the wesite says that the unlock for 3G will be released soon. So, how come your iphone is unlocked? Maybe yours is the old iphone, not the 3G.
Thanks
What's the fuss about 3G Unlock??? It's already available... just turn on your iphone and you'll see the Unlock right there! Slide to the right and there you go!!
I am proud to say that there is an unlock for the iphone 3g. My iphone is now with use with t mobile. I used this site: http://www.unlockiphone20.com/.
