Apple Says It Has No Plans to Support Siri on Older Devices?

Apple has reportedly told an iOS developer that there are no plans to support Siri on older devices, according to Michael Steeber.

The developer emailed Apple suggesting that the company charge an extra fee for older devices that wanted to install Siri. The exchange can be found below...

Engineering has provided the following feedback regarding this issue:
Siri only works on iPhone 4S and we currently have no plans to support older devices.

Thankfully there are developers working hard to bring Siri to older devices including the iPhone 4 and iPhone 3GS.
