After updating 9A406
Both issues resolved after a restore with the latest build on my iPhone 4S.
No more searching issue, now Sim card working OK in my 4S.

Problems that have not been fixed (or mentioned) since 3.1.2:
iPod/Music: If lyrics are displayed while listening to a song, there is no way to access the repeat, genius, shuffle, 30s, 2x buttons since they become partially hidden by the lyrics.
If one is listening to a book in 2x and uses Voice Control, dismisses an alarm or receives a phone call, listening is resumed at 1x but the icon still indicates 2x

Don't download this 5.0.1 revised as it was patched to block any future JB stick wit the older version 5.0.1

This is nice. Can the new OS be installed on iPhone 4? will it address the "sim card" issue?
