New data from NetMobileShare reveals that iOS users are far more likely than Android users to browse the web on their mobile device, reports FORTUNE.
Measuring hits on their clients' Web pages over the past 12 months (representing about 160 million visitors per month), it shows the share from iOS devices -- both iPhones and iPads -- rising nearly 20%, to 62.% in May 2012 from 52.4% in June 2011. In the same period, Android's share rose to 19.7% from 14.3%. That's larger percentage gain -- nearly 38% -- but considerably less than you might expect given the growth in Android sales.

Or iOS devices are all day sending data to Apple and thus use more than twice that Android traffic.
