Apple has acknowledge the Do Not Disturb bug that has plagued some iOS users since January 1st and revealed that the feature won't work properly until January 7th.
Symptoms After January 1st, 2013, Do Not Disturb mode stays on past its scheduled end time.
Resolution Do Not Disturb scheduling feature will resume normal functionality after January 7, 2013. Before this date, you should manually turn the Do Not Disturb feature on or off.
To turn off the scheduling feature, tap Settings > Notifications > Do Not Disturb and switch Scheduled to Off.
If you really need this to work now just set your date to the 7th jan and just remember you have put the date forward. I just reset the date in the morning when I get up.
The scheduled DND function has been working for me last year until New Year's Day. I was wondering why it both the iPhone and iPad went DND during the day. Quite similar to that alarm clock issue a few years ago.
This ain't the first time an iOS bug related to date scheduling has occurred.
If you cast your memory back to iOS4.x i think it was, there was an issue with the alarm, it stopped working at the turn of the year.
..And also the Camera App wont work from Feb 2 to March 3. The Phone app wont be working on holidays and the Mail.app may stop working during July. Happy new year!
