As in Australia, ship times for iPhone 5s orders in German, France, China, and the U.K. are currently at 7-10 days.
By all accounts, supply of the new flagship iPhone will be limited in the U.S. as well. It's said that the gold color iPhone 5s is in particularly low supply.

The more I wait the less I see in owning a smart phone ! It's getting less attractive and less being needed ! I'm getting tired of this

Well I personally would not wait in no line the phone not that important to me but I will get one at some point in time
