Steve Jobs Amazon Account Hacked?

Steve Jobs Amazon Account Hacked?

Posted May 14, 2009 at 10:51am by iClarified
A hacker claiming to have accessed Steve Jobs personal Amazon account is trying to sell his information to the highest bidder, according to a Cult of Mac exclusive.

According to the hacker, who identifies himself as “orin0co,” Jobs is an avid online shopper. Jobs has purchased 20,000 items from Amazon.com in the last 10 years, the hacker says. That’s 2,000 items a year, or more than 5 items a day, every day.

“I got myself a hold of this information,” the hacker wrote in an email sent from a secure Hushmail account. “No one else has it. I didn’t misuse it, otherwise Mr. Jobs would long ago change his login detail, wouldn’t he?”

The hacker claims he sent Jobs a phony but official-looking email that tricked him into logging onto a fake Amazon.com website — a common phishing tactic.

orin0co provided Cult of Mac with some screenshot evidence that you can view below. More details and copies of his email correspondence can be found using the read more link.

Not to mention, Steve Jobs buying Bluray? he can probably get a movie for free on itunes and maybe in HD, why on earth would he need to get a bluray disc. That wouldn't be supporting his own camp of online downloads vs physical media
