Realistic Concept for a 4.7-Inch iPhone Air [Video]

Sam Beckett has posted a realistic concept video for a 4.7-inch iPhone Air.

The phone is only 8% larger than the existing iPhone 5S, this increase is to accommodate the larger screen. Some extra space could be potentially utilised by reducing the width of the side bezels and by also slimming down the top and bottom of the phone frame too. The depth of the iPhone Air is 7mm, coming in 0.6mm smaller than it's predecessor. This modest reduction in the device depth and larger increase in the width and height could help create a bigger space for the battery and other components.

The 4.7-inch screen would have a 1920x1080 resolution resulting in a pixel density of 468ppi. It uses sapphire crystal cover glass instead of Gorilla Glass for added strength and durability. Other features include an upgraded 10MP f/1.8 camera and an A8 chip.

Apple would never use such silent mode switch. The problem is, you see, when you put your phone into pocket it switches. The existing silent mode switch is better because it works.

It's by Sam Beckett, therefore, it is gonna be real. End of story. He got the iPhone 5 concept to the "EXACT POINT"!

Nice concept. It looks very nice with the 4s feel to it in larger air size but iPhone air makes me think little room for improved battery. Can they have both? That would be awesome.

Near perfection but the old school buttons, why go back with them and use it on metal? Plus, the back side is like the 4.

Very good and finally something reasonable, although I'd like to see the glass back die with the next iteration in favor of something less break-y...

Beautiful and realistic concept based on the Iphone 4 series, which by the way, my personal and humble opinion, is the best design ever of a Iphone what aesthetics and quality concerns.
