The iPhone 6 will feature rounded edges, a curved display, and an an entirely aluminum back, according to a Mac Otakara report.
'Reliable sources' tell the site that the iPhone 6's cover glass will sit flush with the rounded corners of the device. They likened the profile of the new smartphone to the Squair Curvaceous Bumper, a Japan-made aluminum bumper for the iPhone with rounded edges.
The sources also said that Apple will discard the rear glass antenna breaks in favor of an all-aluminum design. This could mean changes to the antenna layout; however, an all-aluminum back would improve the durability of the phone.
Mac Otakara also claims that the new iPhone 6 will feature a curved display. Notably, Bloomberg reported in November that Apple was planning to release 4.7-inch and 5.5-inch iPhones with displays that curve downward at their edges in the second half of 2014. However, in January a report from the WSJ contradicted their claim saying the iPhone 6 would not feature a curved display.
Apple is expected to launch a 4.7-inch iPhone 6 in Q3 and a 5.5-inch iPhone 6 in Q4. Please follow iClarified on Twitter, Facebook, or RSS for updates.

Automatically fit the hand, shape it to lag or ass, and keep the screen from breaking, but the downside is how it looks and limiting the viewing angle.

if they go with the all aluminum backing they should reduce the price of the phone or at the very minimum offer the 32gb as the new base phone memory size. this will be SUPER EASY for apple to manufacture. before they would have to precisely match the glass to the aluminum. having a one piece design would be so very easy and low cost. this really is reducing the aesthetic value of apple. i'm still curious how an all aluminum back doesn't affect the reception.

What purpose does curved display serve? Besides apple wouldn't do that immediately.
