Jimmy Lin, a Taiwanese media star and race car driver, has posted a photo of what is allegedly the 5.5-inch iPhone 6.
Lin posted photos of what appeared to be a 4.7-inch iPhone 6 earlier this month. A follow up report from SteveNotes said that Lin had obtained an authentic prototype. The prototypes were allegedly shipped from Apple, for testing purposes, to its various facilities around the world, including Hong Kong.

It's open but not broken. The home button is still connected to the phone and the bezel is separated.

Why is he putting a new screen on a phone, but leaving out vital items like the home button. These are all fake or leave the ability to be fake.

Well if you know how to fix iPhones, you'd know that what's he's doing is stupid whether he is tearing down the phone or putting it back together because he needs to put the home button in.

People do these to reveal the parts or how to replace them or better yet light up the apple logo. That can actually happen to transparent ones only (on the back).

Unless it almost looks edge to edge and the screen is slightly taller on the top covering a little more bezel, then yes.

clearly a fake. The home button is elongated due to stretching of that part of the image. They would never make an iPhone with that ratio.

That's why it's a prototype.

I see flat sides, maybe curved on the silver but judging from that it looks perfect!
