i would love the ios 8 features but on the 4s slows down the phone a lot ..... :( i hope they do something about this...

i do have the 4s and its faster. maybe your back up had som trash files or something. try restoring without back up. like a new iphone.

Sorry, but the people who did this jailbreak are Chinese, not traditional Macheads, thus they developed the PC version first. They say they're working on a Mac version, but we'll have to see whether they know what they're doing on a Mac. Give them time, it'll come.
Besides, it doesn't hurt waiting, as the majority of Cydia's tools aren't working at the moment.
