A new report from iGen claims that the stainless steel Apple Watch will cost $500; whereas, the yellow or rose gold Apple Watch will cost between $4000 and $5000.
Apple Watch Stainless Steel (polished or black sidereal) would be proposed at $ 500. The Edition model in yellow or pink gold would be sold between $ 4,000 and $ 5,000. No part of the package of Watch (excluding strap, so) can be easily removed to replace the battery or another component. Nothing says that the operation can not be supported in an Apple Store, but what one has, Apple watches might as well be closed for an iPad.
Since Apple announced a starting price of $349 for the Apple Watch, people have been speculating on how much various version of the device will cost. There are 34 Apple Watch models that customers will be able to choose from. Daring Fireball's John Gruber believes that that the stainless steel/sapphire models will cost $999 and the gold models will cost around $4999 - $9999. However, we've seen other reports that price the gold model at $1200.
Finally, the report suggests that Apple could launch the watch in time for Valentine's Day.
Regarding availability, our contact says the date of Valentine is still valid, despite the Angela Ahrendts statement announcing a spring launch. Operators (resellers and distributors) are in any case in the starting blocks for mid-February... In addition, three major French would strongly positioned on the accessory market for Apple Watch. It seems to believe not only upstream of the production chain, from manufacturers and distributors in.

Great point! Even worse...in ONE YEAR, Apple is gomna come out with a cheaper and better iWatch S, making this gold 5k obsolete. I rather buy a JABRA FOR $175 and a Rolex.

Is it just me or does the apple watch look so ugly... Why didn't they make it a circle instead of a square.. I think this I watch gen will flop when it comes out...

It's just you. Why not round? Because every apple products has always been square shaped and circle has always been the same old school styled watch, but also it's easier to fit things in the sides and fit the steps. Not a single Apple product was ever a flop even though the 5c outsold s5 in most places. What's your excuse just because of design. Iphone 6 May be a bit ugly but come on, there are cases to style stuff up. Like style will slow it down.

Actually, I think the iPhone 6 is the most beautiful iPhone ever. The early ones were just technological marvels, the 4's were design flops and ergonomically crap, the 5's were a bit better design-wise but still ergonomically crap. The 6 is perfect for me, even though I'm still having trouble with the bigger size and missing reaching everything with my thumb.

Pay $5k. Gets outdated in one year. 5k wasted for those early adapters or showoffs.

pay 5k then in a year it makes no difference to how it can be better if one was satisfied with it. Still valuable to sell before a newer model anyway. The only show off here is your gimmick.

Those guys with the $5k-$10k predictions are out of their minds. If it starts at $350 for the sport model, the stainless steel will probably be $100 more, and the gold may be in the $1k range. Let's not go nuts here.
