Apple has released Safari 8.0.2 fixing an issue that resulted in Apple having to pull Safari 8.0.1.
The Safari 8.0.2 update is recommended for all OS X Yosemite users and contains improvements to usability, stability, and security.
This update: ● Fixes an issue that could prevent history from syncing across devices if iCloud Drive is not on ● Fixes an issue that could prevent a saved password from being autofilled after two devices are added to iCloud Keychain ● Improves the performance of WebGL graphics on Retina displays ● Allows users to import usernames and password from Firefox ● Fixes a rare issue in which some users were unable to access Safari after installing the 8.0.1 update

Since upping to Safari 8.0.2 on my Mac, I have constant pinwheeling...clink a link...pinwheel, attempt to scroll...pinwheel. I'm not getting it in any other apps. Anyone else seeing anything like this?

Netflix works fine, before and after the update. Try updating your Silverlight plugin.

That's the first thing I tried. I contacted NetFlix and was told that it was a safari problem. That apple was aware but hadn't released a fix yet.
