Apple Shares First 'Neuromancer' Teaser, Sets January 22, 2027 Premiere [Video]

The first teaser for Apple TV's adaptation of William Gibson's genre-defining 1984 novel Neuromancer has arrived, offering an early look at Callum Turner as the hacker Case. The footage debuted during Apple's San Diego Comic-Con panel, where Turner made a surprise virtual appearance to introduce the clip.



The series follows Case, a damaged, top-rung super-hacker who is thrust into a web of digital espionage and high-stakes crime alongside his partner Molly (Briana Middleton), a razor-girl assassin, as they pull off a heist targeting a corporate dynasty with untold secrets. Neuromancer's 10-episode season premieres globally on Apple TV on Friday, January 22, 2027, with two episodes, followed by one new episode every Friday through March 19, 2027.


Alongside Turner and Middleton, the cast includes Mark Strong, Joseph Lee, Peter Sarsgaard, Clémence Poésy, Max Irons, Dane DeHaan, Junia Rees, Jordan Kouamé, Emma Laird, Marc Menchaca, André De Shields and Isabella Pappas. Created for television by Graham Roland and JD Dillard, the series has Roland serving as showrunner while Dillard directed the first three episodes. William Gibson also executive produces.

Widely regarded as one of the defining works of the cyberpunk genre, Neuromancer won the Nebula, Philip K. Dick, and Hugo awards.

Apple's two-hour Hall H presentation also featured new trailers for season two of Dark Matter and the upcoming film Matchbox. The event marked the company's largest San Diego Comic-Con presence to date.
