Apple has stopped signing iOS 8.1.2 meaning that it is no longer possible to restore to the firmware version to jailbreak your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch.
Unfortunately, Apple blocked the exploits used to jailbreak with the release of the current iOS 8.1.3 firmware. If you are on iOS 8.1.2 take extra care not to accidentally update your device. If you haven't jailbroken yet, you can still use TaiG or PP to jailbreak.
We'll let you know as soon as there are any developments in jailbreaking iOS 8.1.3 or higher.

I am still on 7.x...
Can I still download 8.1.2 firmware file and use iTunes to restore/upgrade to 8.1.2 (so I can jb)?
Will I get error 3194?
Which iTunes version should I use, 12.0.1 or the latest (12.1)?
Thanks guys, keep iClarifying

I am a hoarder when it comes to the restoration of the iOS jailbreak. I will never update my iPhone until there is a jailbreak; I didn't even buy an iPhone until there was a jailbreak available.

I just had downloaded the ipsw files last night to get this update. I'll probably be stuck on 8.1.0 for a long time now. Might have to give up on my tweaks if 8.2 is a useful one. I'm tired of this back and forth with Apple and the jailbreakers. Only 3 or 4 things I modify with the jailbreak anymore.. but still.
