Real has submitted an iPhone version of Rhapsody to Apple for App Store approval, according to gdgt.

What you get is nothing less than full access to everything in Rhapsody's catalog, including over eight million tracks, all of its radio stations, and the ability to create playlists on the fly. (The app also syncs with your account, so you can listen to playlists you've already created or browse music you've saved to your collection.) It's like being able to store several million tracks on your iPhone or iPod touch. Well, when you're online, that is

Unfortunately, you are unable to cache tracks for listening offline; however, this feature is intended for a 2.0 release if approved. The application will be free for $14.99-a-month Rhapsody To Go subscribers.

It's unclear whether Apple will approve this application since listening to music "duplicates" functionality already found on the iPhone. That being said Apple is facing increased pressure over its questionable handling of App Store practices.
