Samsung Officially Halts Sales and Exchanges of Galaxy Note 7, Asks Customers to Stop Using It

Samsung has officially announced that it is halting sales and exchanges of the exploding Galaxy Note 7. The announcement comes after a recall which did little to stop the smartphone from catching fire.

As reports of replacement devices catching fire began adding up, AT&T and T-Mobile stopped sales of the phone.

Here's what Samsung said today:

We are working with relevant regulatory bodies to investigate the recently reported cases involving the Galaxy Note7. Because consumers’ safety remains our top priority, Samsung will ask all carrier and retail partners globally to stop sales and exchanges of the Galaxy Note7 while the investigation is taking place.

We remain committed to working diligently with appropriate regulatory authorities to take all necessary steps to resolve the situation. Consumers with either an original Galaxy Note7 or replacement Galaxy Note7 device should power down and stop using the device and take advantage of the remedies available.

Samsung fans cannot comprehend. Why their android favourite is exploding. Coincidently the Google Pixel is released so closely. But really, the iPhone 7 trumps all.

At least Samsung are giving the customers a full refund plus 100 dollars towards a new unit. Apple cannot even give 1.00 to rip there @sses. They are greedy and cheap company. Good luck with the dongle looks like a c@ck for phone lol.... Wait till the S8 it will destroy your iPhone 7 with the same design. lol

You know what they say, "those who don't learn from history are doomed to repeat it". Remember what happened to Windows Phone when all the budget was blown on 'ads' that made the phone die in 2 years since launch? It could happen here, except several years worth! Besides, The note 8 can't destroy the 7 because 1. the name is inconsistent. 2. What if the same shit happens here? 3. iPhone is in the phone category especially for plus just like galaxy s. Nevermind the only difference between this and note is size and one can draw. 3. The notes like past versions are released every 2 years except 7 was slapped here because of s7 release and a shitty attempt to cash in on iPhone 7. 4. iPhone 8 would have to be released around the note 8 by technology standards for both to be even to go to head to head! Apple does give $1. Why don't you rip your ass in order to pull you head out for a reality check. Not only to realize the truth here, but about the so-called resemblance you wish a phone would look like, but if anything, your mind is defying the shape of a true c@ck like your brainwashed mind! LAWLOL!!!! Same design my ass not to mention!
