AppleInsider has been told that these applications will accomplish a variety of tasks. One will allow employees to swap iPhones and iPods on the store floor which previously could only be done at the store's Genius Bar. Another would assist employees who work in the stock room. All the apps are designed to ease and simplify tasks.
