Jonathan Levin has released an updated LiberTV jailbreak for the Apple TV 4 and 4K running tvOS 11.0 and tvOS 11.1. Unfortunately, if you have already updated to tvOS 11.2, you won't be able to jailbreak at this time.
The new jailbreak is based on an exploit disclosed by Google's Ian Beer which may also lead to a jailbreak of iOS 11.1.2.
Levin announced the release on Twitter,
"Jailbreaking movement #1: LiberTV11. Get it now at http://NewOSXBook.com/libertv/ Works on all 11.0 and 11.1 versions. See you again same time tomorrow for more, maybe? ;-) Happy Holidays!"

I have a 4K Apple TV do I need to purchase an USB C to A cable to be connected to my Mac? Why did Apple eliminate the USB port. I bet lot of developers were frustrated.
