Apple Says iPhone XR Has Been the Best Selling iPhone Since Its Release

Apple's new iPhone XR has been the best selling iPhone since its release, says Greg Joswiak, Apple VP of Product Marketing.
In an interview with CNET, Joswiak said the device has "been our most popular iPhone each and every day since the day it became available." He declined to comment on numerousreports that Apple has cut orders for its new iPhone models only saying that the iPhone XR "has been the most popular and best-selling" iPhone since it hit the market.
Joswiak also revealed that Apple plans to make a big push for World AIDS Day on Saturday. The company will donate $1 for each Apple Pay purchase at an Apple Store, Apple.com or the Apple Store app from December 1st to December 7th. Apple will also turn 125 Apple Store logos red in honor of the day.
So let me summ it up, they pushed the price up, see what they can do with their loyal iphone user base, but when they realised that no one is buying it, came the statement: we will not release sales numbers, because it doesnt matter. So they cut production. Now they throw some vague statements about sales, trying to make it look like someone cares. Its not hard to be the most popular if no one is buying xs or xs max
They also probably pushed a bunch of freebies like the Ellen Show and some other type of mobile network promos for the holiday season just to relinquish inventory. It’s like “see!? The inventory for XR is dropping so it’s super popular!”
