Stop Your Headache With Your Phone

Headaches are one of the most common and frustrating health problems in the world today. While pain pills may temporarily cover the symptoms, they do not address the cause of a headache. A medical acupuncture company has broken barriers with the research and development of modernized uses of acupuncture. In addition to computerized acupuncture tools for practitioners, they recently released an iPhone and iPod Touch app called Headache.

According to the app description, "The principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine teach that energy imbalances in the body often contribute to headache symptoms, and these imbalances can be corrected with pressure to specific points on the body." The application teaches not just about the headache you are experiencing, but goes on to identify the exact points to treat, and even has sound or vibration based treatment built in to the application if your device supports it.

"Selected by licensed acupuncturists, these points may bring you safe, natural, effective relief." They claim that no technical or medical skill is required, and self-treatment only takes a few minutes. At $1.99, not only is this an affordable alternative to popping pills, but it's a great tool to keep in your pocket for the next time you feel that pressure building in your head.

Pricing and Availability:
Headache 1.0 is $1.99 (USD) and available worldwide exclusively through the App Store in the Healthcare & Fitness category.

It appears people try anything to make money. Will a buyer get any relief from his/her headache using this app? I Perhaps Apple should not allow such claims unless the seller hasan approval from FDA.

Not that I find $1.99 expensive but it would be worthwhile if developers & Apple didn't put a price tag on a medical app. The Government's already screwing us. We don't need corporations doing the same to us, not in these times. Just my 2 cents!
