Apple has updated its promotional ads for the iPad to remove video and images demonstrating Flash capabilities.
According to 9to5Mac, Apple's advertising agency, Media Arts Lab, was urgently requested to change the video.
We've just got word from our source at Chiat/Day Media Arts Lab that they make fake optimized web pages for all of Apple's commercials -- which load faster. In this case they made optimized images to take the place of Flash and are redoing them as we speak. So probably no Flash.
The new video and images are already posted to the US site. You can see the difference below.
Hurray, 1 victory for truthiness 1 lose to Apple, now if they can change the name and live Fujitsu and MadTV to it's own, that will be awesome and then to make things completely rt they could tell everyone about the silliness of calling this "the experience" when is just another E-Reader with color screen....
...I know, that will be the day...
But you two are interested in keeping up to date on this POS.. Interesting.
Bottomline, again apple screwed up. They didnt proof these ads before released. The Ad company made a mistake, but the bigger mistake was that apple did not have them fix it with say a page without flash in the first plase.
Very sloppy on Apples part.
Come on Steve take control of your company and personally make sure things are done correctly, unlike what was done with the ad approval process.
