Kuo Says New Mac Pro, iMac Pro, Mac Mini Not Coming Until 2023

TF International Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo now says that Apple's next generation Mac Pro, iMac Pro, and Mac Mini will not arrive until 2023.

The analyst had previously predicted that Apple would release a more powerful Mac mini (Mac Studio) and 27-inch external display (Studio Display) in 2022. Those predictions came true. At that the same time, Kuo said that a new Mac Pro and iMac Pro would arrive in 2023.

Today, Kuo updated his prediction for 2023 saying that we should expect a new Mac mini, Mac Pro, and iMac Pro next year.

Kuo's predictions of late have clashed with other reliable Apple sources. For example, Kuo says the new MacBook Air will have an M1 chip, while 9to5Mac sources say it will get the M2 chip, as does Mark Gurman. Kuo says Apple may not release new mini-LED products this year due to cost concerns, while Ross Young says a new 27-inch mini-LED monitor is already in production. Kuo says we won't see a new Mac Pro this year, while Young expects it in June. Finally, Kuo's prediction today, that the new Mac mini won't arrive this year, also contradicts 9to5Mac and Mark Gurman.

There's still plenty of time for these predictions to change ahead of WWDC in June. Please download the iClarified app or follow iClarified on Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, and RSS for the latest Apple news!
