Apple Online Store Stops Selling Apple Watch Series 7 Models Ahead of Series 8 Debut

Apple has disabled online sales of most Apple Watch Series 7 models ahead of the expected Series 8 launch next week.
Amazon is out of stock on many models as well, with select devices being offered at significant discounts. For example, the 45mm Cellular Apple Watch Series 7 is down to $339.99 from $499.
Apple is widely expected to unveil the Apple Watch Series 8 at a special 'Far Out' event on September 7. The standard model will likely look the same as the Series 7 but add a body-temperature sensor and women's health features. A new Pro model will target sportier customers with a larger and more shatter-resistant display, enhanced tracking for hiking and swimming, longer battery life, and a rugged and premium metal case (likely titanium).
